We meet bi-weekly on Monday evenings at Root and Press to share our love for arts and crafts. All Crafts Welcome: Bring any creative project, from knitting and jewelry making to iPad illustration or adult coloring books. Work Independently or Share & Connect: Work quietly with headphones or work side-by-side to boost creativity and share your progress.

Shut Up & Write!® is a free, global community of writers. Same time, same place, in person at Root and Press. After a quick meet and greet, you write quietly together. You come back next meeting. No workshopping, no reading, just dedicated, low-key writing time. Laptops, journals, essays, memoirs, creative writing, poetry....whatever it is you are working on! We currently meet bi-weekly. No workshops. No critique. No reading aloud. Just writing, next to other people who are also writing.
